Objet260 Connex

The Objet260 Connex is your gateway to the world of multi-material color 3D printing. In a single print job, you can incorporate a wide range of material properties to vary translucency, rigidity, thermal resistance or color

The Objet260 Connex is great for:

  • Producing realistic prototypes without extra assembly and post-processing.

Compact Multi-Material 3D Printing System

A Revolution in True-Product Realism

The Objet260 Connex™ is a compact, attractively priced edition of Objet’s pioneering line of multi-material 3D printers. It enables designers and engineers to rapidly build prototypes to match their intended end-product like no other technology currently available.

What’s Unique About Objet Connex?

The Objet260 Connex comes with a choice of over 100 different build materials. From these it can simultaneously build 14 different materials into a single model part, providing a highly accurate idea of how even complex or assembled end products will look and perform.

Freedom to Select the Right Materials

The Objet260 Connex enables users to select up to 106 composite, Digital Materials™ simulating anything from rubber to transparency to rigid ABS-grade engineering plastics. It encourages designers and engineers to explore and innovate and helps them to come to the right choices based on the best representation of their intended end-product.

  • Outstanding 16-micron, high-resolution print layer accuracy
  • Multi-material 3D printing
  • Small-office compatibility with a 260 x 260 x 200mm (10.02 x 10.02 x 7.9") tray size
  • Easy-to-insert materials in fully-sealed cartridges (REACH compliant)
  • Choice of over 100 materials

Based on PolyJet 3D Printing Technology

The Objet260 Connex is ideal for designers and engineers looking to effectively highlight the varying material components in complex or assembled products. It combines outstanding 16-micron, high-resolution layer accuracy with a tray size of 260 x 260 x 200 mm (10.2 x 10.2 x 7.9 in.) — small enough to fit in the corner of any office. The system is small and quiet, and uses easy-to-insert materials in fully-sealed cartridges.

Base materials include:

  • Transparent material (VeroClear) for fit and form testing of detailed transparent parts and simulation of transparent thermoplastics such as PMMA
  • A family of Rubber-like materials (Tango family) suitable for a range of applications requiring non-slip or soft surfaces
  • Transparent material (RGD720) for standard plastics simulation requiring dimensional stability and smooth surfaces
  • A family of Rigid Opaque materials (Vero family) in a variety of colors including white, gray, blue and black
  • Polypropylene-like material (DurusWhite) for snap fit applications

Composite digital materials include:

  • Digital ABS (RGD5160-DM fabricated from RGD515 and RGD535) simulates ABS engineering plastics by combining high-temperature resistance with toughness. Digital ABS2 matches those properties and provides superior rigidity and toughness in walls thinner than 1.2 mm (.047 in.).
  • High Temperature material for advanced functional testing, hot air and water flow, static applications and exhibition modeling
  • Transparent shades and patterns
  • Rigid opaque shades
  • Different shore value rubber-like materials
  • Polypropylene with improved thermal resistance
